"I'm 28 years old, I started here when I was 14 and have been coming on and off since. As a kid and as an adult, this school has treated me with the utmost respect. JJM and the staff have always welcomed me with open arms (literally lol), they make every student feel special and they do a great job of answering all students' questions no matter the belt. There is so much talent on the mats, you quite literally can roll with a different person every single round, for days. As far as mat space goes, the school just moved to a larger location so the mats don't feel crowded. Overall this school has a reputation of high quality training, and it's true. JJM, Jay, and Mark teach every single class, there are no fill ins or randoms teaching, you get top tier instructors and techniques every single class. Students are super nice and helpful because the instructors lead by example. In the simplest way said, the leaders at this school do a great job of weeding out bad apples and that is why this school has such a great environment. I can confidently say that there is a reason that this academy has been open for as long as it has."
