For him, this is not a business but a way of life. Armando breathes and lives Karate. His passion for the art, his drive to maintain the highest standards in the way he teaches, his ability to inspire, and even him as a person are what makes this dojo a special one. When my kids attended, they were extremely happy and learned tons. My family had to move away from the area and I have to say that having to leave the dojo really hit hard. It is so very rare to find a dojo and a sensei as awesome as Armando."

"Great focused classes that teaches your child to be confident and accomplish their small (finishing a move or finishing class) and large (getting a new belt) goals. Large dojo compared to any other dojo in Oceanside. They do a good job learning new skills each week. A little more expensive than other dojos in the area, but you definitely get your moneys worth in quality and ambiance. Sensei Armando really cares about your kids building strong character and he knows it’s not just built over night. I have seen him take some very wiggly distracted kids and turned them into kids that respect their teacher and dojo (as well as making them more respectful to their parents). My son has been coming here for just over a year and he has had a huge improvement in confidence, respect to others, and he is stronger. At the end of each class, each kid tells all the other kids individually that they did awesome - love this action of kindness."
