"The Pier is a beautiful scenic place to walk, sit and contemplate. The ocean and sky views are breathtaking. This is always a highlight for me when I visit Oceanside! I recommend a cane for anyone who is unstable walking and a light raincoat because of the misty air."

"It's a solid four star experience but it's best if you come here for a meal otherwise there ain't much to do unless you are departing from the marina. There's a faux lighthouse for pictures, an architecturally interesting Joe's crab shack (cantilevered design) and the marina. The fish and chips spot was drawing lots of attention during my visit. There's a coffee shop with great marina views and some weak souvenir places."

"I love the harbor. If you are looking to take a sailboat ⛵ ride, look up Bobby Watkins with Ahoy Matey Sailing Charters. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable captain. He may even let you take the helm! He's also very funny, I guarantee you're going to have the best time with him!!"

"I was born and raised in California but now reside in Colorado. I was blessed to have a two week vacation in San Diego and was invited to lunch at the Oceanside harbor. I got to walk around the harbor and take pictures. It was a kind of overcast on this day so the pictures aren't as good as they could have been. I feel like this is an excellent spot to visit. There are restaurants, gift shops, lots of places to visit while you're there. The scenery is beautiful and the walk around the harbor is amazing. I highly recommend this for an easy day for the whole family. You could even take a picnic lunch and sit on the grassy area."

"This place was great. We walked the docks, we had some lunch, which was terrific by the way. We checked out the gift shops. We walked down to the beach and took a few photos. The weather was perfect. There were a variety of places to eat and/or snack. There are a couple of places along the pier itself to buy gift items. There were a couple of gift shops in an ice cream shop. The water was beautiful, the view was spectacular. I loved seeing all of the boats. The people we came across that worked there, we’re very friendly. It was a great afternoon to enjoy by the shore."
