"My daughter and I began attending classes at this dojo six months ago and we are thrilled with our experiences. The dojo provides separate classes for children and adults. My daughter is enrolled in the children's class and thoroughly enjoys it, listing Aikido as one of her favorite activities alongside her music classes. Sensei, who holds a 5th degree black belt, is not only an expert in Aikido but also a master communicator, especially when dealing with children. His teaching style is engaging and effective, making the learning process enjoyable and easy to grasp. Personally, I find that I am learning more than just Aikido. He is very engaged with his students, and ensures that behind every demonstration the ‘why’ behind it is explained. He encompasses safety all while have some fun with the students. He pushes you to do your very best. My daughter always looks forward to Aikido and to see the progress she has made is astounding. The height off the floor she takes when flipping in the air is breathtaking. We are extremely happy that we found Tri-City Aikido and definitely recommend anyone to join!"
