"I used to love the friendly staff at Elstons but it has really gone downhill. The skinny older man with glasses was one of the RUDEST people I have ever met. My car alarm went off by accident my friend kept accidentally setting it off and we couldn’t find the keys so we were laughing about the fact that we couldn’t find them. He approached our vehicle noticeably upset after I turned off the alarm and said it wasn’t funny. I went in and apologized profusely saying it was a complete accident because we couldn’t find the keys and my ding dong friend kept accidentally setting it off. Even after apologizing multiple times he wouldn’t speak to me or acknowledge my presence. He was so so rude! So moral of the story don’t accidentally let your car alarm go off. Oh and my horse friends also mentioned that this gentleman has been rude to them as well. Even though I have done TONS of business with Elstons over the years I will not be until they find new staff."

"If you have chickens, horses or other technically more traditional pets than petco urban options, it's likely you already have an opinion of this place. If you live in Escondido or east county, there are other options for feed stores, but my only real complaint is their hours; my pseudo complaint is not allowing us to haul own own sacks to our vehicles when pulling in that parking lot on the first place is many people's only redneck adventure and some hay in the hair would complete the experience."
