"Here in East County, this is one of the only places to buy crickets. The main difference with this store to other pet stores? A LOCAL BUSINESS. You can find pet food from raw to specialty. They carry Solid Gold, also a local company, also in Santee, and the bison mix is perfect for a small dog's coat. I also found an alternative to fighting as we brush our dog's teeth, as this store carries a gel that you rub on their gums and teeth to kill bacteria. They also carry a whole line of simply baked biscuits in all sizes, and for that very special treat, there are cookies with frosting up front."
"Huge selection with some great stuff. They have crickets, mice, and rats for sale behind the counter too. They only sell mice, rats, and beta fish for pets so dont expect to buy a cat or a dog here. Just the supplies for them! There's a wide range of food and supplies for a number of pets and the people upfront can answer most questions. The store is organized and easy to navigate. (And there's a cute little trainer that goes around the store too!)"
