"He is the reason I think men should never be gynos. Went in for a consultation due to pain. Was left alone in the room, after informing the nurse I was terrified, naked with nothing other than a paper gown for 20 minutes after being told to undress. Was told that my pain was basically my fault because I got used to taking Advil for it. Like what?? Or that I might have IBS (I don’t) or that it might just be anxiety. He completely disregarded my pain, ignored my fear, interrupted me, and was the worst medical experience I’ve ever had. Do NOT go here if you actually want someone to take you seriously."

"Dr. Marinescu is irresponsible. He is not compassionate and he does not care about his patients. Even after we made an appointment to come in and were emotional in front of him voicing how upset we were at the lack of communication (no calls, no emails, nothing) following our son’s stillbirth at 38 weeks, we still received no calls. No follow up. No check in. I absolutely do not recommend this office and I am so glad to hear Dr. Perkins practices elsewhere now. When dealing with human lives as your JOB, I think it’s pretty important to know how to support your patients when a life is lost."

"Dr Marinescu is skilled and knowledgeable! Like other reviews said, "a man of few words" but ready to listen to your concerns and get to the root of the issues. He won't send you tests you don't need, unlike other doctors who just want to make money out of labs. I feel safe having him as my OB. The front desk ladies are nice and helpful. The office is clean and organized and the flow of patients never seems too overwhelming, giving you a nice appointment experience."

"Dr. Marinescu is the most wonderful, smart, caring doctor. I met Dr. Marinescu in unfortunate circumstances after the hospital I delivered my baby at (with a different OB) sent me home sick and I developed a bad infection. Dr. Marinescu cared for me at Hoag Newport where he visited me daily and truly cared about my recovery. I have now switched OBs to be under Dr. Marinescu's care and I wish he had been my OB all along. I thank God often for bringing Dr. Marinescu into my life during such a scary time. I am forever grateful for him and his care."
