"I was diagnosed with tongue cancer in May of 2023. After radiation treatments in August I was suffering from dry mouth. I reached out to Dr. Graboski too see if he has done anything with dry needling for dry mouth. We both did some research and found some benefits to dry needling. At the end of October of 2023 we started weekly season. I was not able to produce any salvia or eat at the time. By the end of November I was starting to produce saliva and eat wet foods. By the end of December I was eating full meals with help of liquid. End of January I am able to eat food with out help of liquid. We started with weekly season, then switched to twice a month the last two months. I would definitely say dry needling help me with my dry mouth. I still get dry mouth in the morning when I wake up but it’s definitely not as bad it once was."
