"I recently had my bike tuned up at The Bikery. It had been 3 years since my last tune up. My long time bike shop was no longer in business so I shopped around and decided on The Bikery. The people there are very nice, professional and knowledgeable. After entertaining quotes for tune ups from other area bike shops, I wound up spending less than half of the other quotes at the Bikery for the same work performed. They kept me informed every step of the of the process. When they finished, I picked it up and test rode it. It performed like a brand new bike. Gears, shifters, brakes all worked perfectly and was incredibly smooth and quiet. I plan to recommend The Bikery to all my friends and relatives. They are the best with very reasonable pricing. "I really wanted to love this place, they seem like good people but they are either scamming me or incompetent. I bought a "refurbished" bike for commuting to work, a month later it brakes. They told me 80$ to fix it and it will be ready in a week. It takes three weeks to for me to get the bike back and they charge me 160$. Less than a week later the crank the breaks because they didn't tighten down the bolt on one side and now I'm back on the bus. If you want a bike that works, this isn't the place to go."
