Bell Middle School

"this school is great, only if you meet the right type of people. kids can be really annoying and it’s almost impossible to have a class without the kids who make the teacher yell at everyone to stay after class. the teachers are nice and if you’re lucky, there’s always cool and calm teachers. but some teachers are so strict and expect you to know most things, to the point where multiple students are failing because the teacher blames them for the teachers mistake. as a student, this school isn’t the best out there, but there are far worse schools."

"Saw a video online of a teacher at this school, Shane Parmely, acting really inappropriate to police officers. These officers were doing there job perfectly and she was completely disrespectful to them. She likely passes this disrespect to the children she teaches. Not sending my kids to this school."

"This school does their best to teach and inspire students. They work hard to keep the campus clean. They reward the students for having good grades. The only thing is that they need to check the teachers they have. Although, as a student, some teachers NEED some work, others of them are nice."

"It's an okay school. The education is good, depending if ur lucky to get some good teachers in your schedule. Most students are nice and the reason that the school is getting backlash and a bad reputation is because other bad students from other schools are getting transferred to Bell. Even if Bell has some flaws, you can meet really great people."

"The school is fine and its education is good as well as the teachers but two main problems I see are that the school needs more maintenance like the bathrooms and the gym/lunch area and that the students and the students that transfer here are rotten. It's heartbreaking to see students not care about what they're doing as they play loud music, take part in fights, discriminate other students based on appearance, act extremely rude to the teachers, and many more things that teachers should attempt to stop but they allow it. Take some of this review with a grain of salt because I took most of the stuff happening here in the school personally as it got in the way of my education (I am a student afterall) but I believe that when the school removed the strict uniform policy so that the students can dress how they want snowballed into the dirt filled middle school it is now. It may not seem like a bad place as an adult visiting in the afternoon where less stuff is taking place but if you visit in the morning/afterschool you'll get an earful of rap music which shouldn't be playing in the first place which is one of the many problems with this school."
