"Fulcrum is the BEST surf school! Why? They're dynamic, their foundations is solid and they are a fun group! Great for the whole family and all ages - kids and adults. I've been going to them for 4 years now and I drive 45 mins to Del Mar just to take lessons from them. I tried several surf schools and they're by far the most effective. "I am a 60 y/o physician with bilateral unrepaired ACL ruptures and meniscal tears. Two years ago my personal trainer urged me to give surfing a try as a physical stretch goal. That is when I called Dan Mori of Fulcrum Surf School. I had so much fun and learned so much in that first hour that I scheduled an hour lesson for Saturday each week. Soon I increased the lessons to two hours a session. Then I added two hours each Sunday with another excellent Fulcrum instructor GianCarlos. As soon as the lessons are over I eagerly await the next weekend sessions! I am currently catching my own waves and learning to pump down the line on a 7 ft board. I have also traveled with Dan and Fulcrum Surf Travel to El Salvador and Tahiti during these two years. Both trips were amazing adventures and helped my surfing tremendously.
