AQua Wave Swim School, located at 27025 Burbank in Lake Forest, California, is a health-focused institution dedicated to providing quality swimming lessons for all ages. Our enclosed facility features a salt water pool heated to a comfortable 93 degrees, allowing for year-round swimming. With a 5-lane, 18-yard pool and various class options, including Semi-Private, Parent & Me, Stroke Clinics, Swim Team, and Adult lessons, we cater to a wide range of swimming abilities.
Our semi-private program is perfect for students aged 18 months through adolescence, pairing them with a similar-aged partner for personalized instruction. Our instructors are highly trained to teach all levels of swimming, from beginners to stroke technique. Additionally, our Parent & Me classes offer a group environment for children aged 6 months to 3 years, focusing on developing a strong swimming foundation through our WaveSmart ® techniques.
For those looking to improve their swimming skills and endurance, we offer the AQua Wave Team Workout, a structured yet fun 45-minute class offered four evenings a week. Whether you're a beginner or experienced swimmer, our workout provides an opportunity to work on technique and build strength in a supportive environment. "Long time pending review. We had coach Jude when we started almost year and a half ago. Within three months my kiddo made tremendous progress in learning basic swimming. After he left, couple of other coaches took over and we finally ended up with coach Jack. He has been amazing for the last one year! My kiddo needs to be met at his skill level and learns at his own pace. He does not like too much pushing to learn new stuff. Jack does exactly that and let's him be so he has been making pretty decent progress. They are highly inclusive of autistic children, coach Paul who is the owner is great as well! I see new office staff in the last few months and they are very friendly, kind and helpful! Amanda has been consistently the best so far!"
"Coach Jack is a super star. My daughter went to 3 different private instructors with absolutely no progress. Coach Jack made her comfortable in the water in 3 weeks. He taught her a couple of strokes in 2 more weeks. I 100% recommend him"
"Swim instructors are great with my kids. Water is warm, so kids love it. Showers are a little cold but do warm up eventually. Classes (ones we have done; mommy and me/semi private) are about 20 minutes, wish they were a little longer but kids attention span are probably around that limit."
"The kids love squashing. The instructors are very good and able to focus on the what kids need to learn making it fun. Ms Debra is a great instructor. Staff is friendly and give you options available. They have showers and place for kids to change."
"I have 2 older children who are in there teens, and a 4 yr old now. We have been taking my little one to Aqua wave since she was about 1yr old. She loves her instructors, I would recommend Aqua Wave if your looking for inter lvl to Intermediate Stroke learning. Very flexible when you miss a class"
