From every observation I noticed the kids were happy, clean, always wearing their masks and were attended to with love. "Intiwasi is an amazing Spanish Immersion early Elementary/preschool. My daughter has been a part of this wonderful community for over two years when she started at a sister school. The director and all the staff have always been so kind, helpful and nurturing with my daughter. Looking for a school for your child in such a big city as LA can be very stressful and intimidating, but that was never the case with Intiwasi. My daughter enjoys fun educational activities all day, and she already speaks Spanish. In addition to the curriculum, students have dance, music, yoga, gardening and cooking classes. Another huge plus is the delicious homemade food that is served to the students. So grateful that we found this school!"

"Intiwasi is the type of school I would create in an ideal world. They are loving, creative and child centered. My students attended in a pod during the pandemic while I was teaching Spanish first grade from Zoom. I saw first hand the interactions with the teachers, the safety protocols that were implemented and how truly happy the students were in the environment. I was so impressed that I ended up enrolling my daughter as well. From one day to the next, they welcomed us as a family. I love that the Spanish speaking staff is so diverse. Children are exposed to different Spanish accents and vocabulary from several countries. The teachers are so attuned to what each child needs to blossom. The summer program was amazing! The food is warm, delicious, nutritious. It is truly a special place."
