SafeSplash Swim School - Hayward (Whipple)

"This review is specifically for on location management and the corporate office. The instructors are amazing and deserve 5-stars. The manager of the program does not communicate that classes are randomly cancelled due to the temperature of the pool being too cold. Took my kid out of a school program early to show up for swim lessons and the manager was no where to be found. If the manager was able to proactively communicate multiple cancelations we would have stayed enrolled because the instructors are fantastic, patient, and work well with kids that are beginning. After multiple cancellations of classes with no emails or calls we have canceled lessons here and are looking for a replacement. The corporate office is unaware of cancellation issues and very slow to offer a refund for multiple classes that were canceled unannounced."

"Not a real swimming school for anyone to improve swimming, only good as an introductory for young kids. Coach changes frequently and classmates change all the time. No continuity for the kids to learn. Had my sons going there for more nearly 10 months and had as many coaches in the same time. Class size supposed to be 3 max but went to 4 kids at one time and the coach decided to spend all the time on the other two kids and had my sons playing by themselves with very little supervision. completely waste of time now. If you want to send kids there, sign up for a month or two just to get the kids comfortable playing with water."

"Cons: - The teachers have been inconsistent for the last 3 months since we started and finally we have a teacher whose been pretty consistent. - Consistently late to open for the first class of the day. (Which is our scheduled class) - No direct phone line. - I've been trying to reschedule a makeup class for at least 2 months and every time I call, it's to a call center who is of no help bc they keep telling me they need to reach out to the manager of the site to get me a token for my make up class and the branch manager is non responsive. - Teachers don't give much feed back on progress bc they keep changing. Pro : - Classes are 30min which is good - Affordable (i guess you get what you pay for )"

"Don't go with this place at all .save your money and try something else out there .staff it's bad and unprofessional They just cancel the classes with out notice and for them it's so simple to just said hoo today Thae class have been cancel wasting your time and gas for nothing really bad experience"

"this place is a nightmare they are hardly organized at all and they just put the correct address. I have been wanting to recover my refund for almost 2 months. Thanks to this my children didnt do any activities on their summer vacations. Very stressful."
