"I talked to Issach on the phone before signing the engagement agreement which is actually just a POA and quite simple (maybe too simple). On the phone, he seemed pretty knowledgeable about what he does. Even though I started questioning his professionalism when I saw the "engagement agreement," I still decided to go with him in the end on that night (maybe I should have gone with my hunch) and paid him $1,640 right away (now I know, it's quite expensive compared to other eviction companies (not law firms). On the following day (Thursday), I sent him all documents that I have prepared and then he started preparing the notice. While he was preparing the notice, he asked me some questions whose answers were actually either in the documents or I have told him on the phone. It was too late to serve the tenant on that day (Wednesday); so he told me he will serve the tenant the following day. Given his work is kind of crappy, I specifically asked him to send me the notice to review before it goes out. The next day, I left him 3 text messages and call him 4 times (only because he never responded to my text nor did he return my call) to get the notice to review, I also called his company's phone number multiple times, but no response at all. I am so at loss as to what happened to him and why he treated his client this way. He also didn't respond to me by any means on Friday. Because, for tenant eviction case, as you all that have been through this turmoil, time is of the essence, I had to act on it asap; so I hired another service company to do the needful. I had requested a refund of my service fee which I paid all up front. But Issach now only agreed to return $240, the court filing fee. It's definitely unreasonable. After all, I am very disappointed in Act Fast Legal's service."
