"So far this place has been great! Accepted our ESA letter fast and the amenities are awesome! Dog wash, yoga room, bike room, multiple community spaces and a nice gym!"

"Overall the Cove II section of the apartments had some growing pains but was not terrible. Noise can be an issue with whoever is in the back alley and downtown being loud with people gunning it up lake Ave. This company does have some scummy policies though."

"DO NOT LIVE HERE IF YOU HAVE PETS. My close friend lives here and recently was asked to remove his young 2 year old dog after less then 1 month of living here. Management claimed that there were absurd amounts of complaints due to barking from my friend’s dog. A) Do not live in a pet friendly apartment if barking bothers you. B) Do not let people have pets if you are just going to make them remove them. Sounds like the management just didn’t want to deal with the complaints professionally and instead took matters up, cruelly, with my friend’s dog. As the other comments suggest I will not be surprised if Cove fails to give my friend any money back — for a now wasted — pet deposit. This place is inhumane and a poor reflection of the high quality life that Duluth has to offer. Please stay away."

"The Cove Apartments/Roers Companies withdraw money out of your account before you sign a Lease, if you choose to not sign a Lease, they will keep your money. All of this despite the fact that they do a whole bait and switch by telling you they will keep the administrative fee, they do not say they will keep the security deposit, that is until they've already stolen it. Write the Better Business Bureau, they want to hear from consumers about this business."

"I had the same experience as the previous reviewer: applied for an apartment, had the security deposit immediately deducted from my checking account, and was ghosted for days. However, I eventually heard back from the leasing office. My advice is to wait to apply until you've had contact with an actual person in the management office. It seems the issue is the automated systems in place work faster than the staffing levels can keep up with."
