"This was a stopover on our way to Lutsen Mountain in Duluth, serving as a midway point to our destination. The stay was budget-friendly and affordable. While there weren't many activities available, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, the staff was accommodating, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options. Free parking was provided, but due to a snowstorm that day, our cars were covered in heavy snow. This wasn't a problem for us, but for those seeking covered parking, it was not available during our visit. Not only is it close to the Lutsen ski area, but it's also the perfect spot for enjoying a scenic drive through the American wilderness. Additionally, it is closer to the downtown area of Duluth."

"I thought the room was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that the tub was really slippery. I had to hold on to the walls so that I wouldn't fall down. I also think we should have gotten a better deal on the room because we go there at least once, if not twice a year,and that should be in their records."

"Took our family here for one night to go to Bentleyville. Our son was home from the military for the Holidays so we wanted to make lots of fun memories. Both of our cars were broken into. Hotel staff said "oh it happens a lot here". WE had to call the police to file a complaint. No camera's for the parking lots either. Not a safe motel and very old and dirty. I do NOT recommend."

"Friendly staff & clean rooms, the common area's could use new or cleaned carpet. The breakfast was nothing special. The seasonal weekend rate ($200+) was way over priced but that's Duluth."

"I was shocked just walking down the hallway to our room. The carpet in the hallway was very old, dirty, it smelled musty and it was so dark everywhere. This hotel was very dated. Our room was ok, the mattress was fine but all the floors were dirty, specially the bathroom areas, The room carpet was stained all over. The furniture were dated. The cover of the AC came off and we found a very filthy, moldy coil which is a health hazard. They cleaned it up while we were gone. We looked at the breakfast area it was a dark unfriendly room, dirty, smelly and we decided not to have breakfast there. Overall we like to say that this hotel was way overpriced for his conditions, not well maintained and cleaned and we NEVER had such a bad experience like that. Expedia should not recommend this place!!!"
