"First time here for dinner. We started with the famous cheese bread, which was great and the stuffed mushrooms which were pretty good, but a little oily. I had the bone-in New York with stuffed potato. My husband and son had the Smokehouse Prime Rib with a potato as well. My steak and the prime rib were all cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We got there a little early for our reservation and I'm glad we did as I didn't realize how sparse street parking was, but we opted for the full experience and paid for valet on their lot. We were seated in the main room with the full bar and small stage at a booth. If you're short like me, the booth is fairly uncomfortable because you sink in quite a bit, and the table is pretty high. They had someone going around consistently checking in on your experience, and food/ drinks was nice because our actual waitress was very busy, but we didn't feel like the service was lacking."

"We waited 60 minutes to get seated, 15 minutes more before we were offered a drink at the table. Once we actually ordered, the food came fast, but the corn was cold. Ribs andl steak tasted great!"
"If you live in LA and have never visited the Smokehouse in Burbank, you are missing out, especially between now and October 31! They are celebrating, having been in business since 1946, so there's a special Anniversary menu where entrees with 2 sides are $19.46. (Photo of my prime rib.). You know you can't beat it. They were super busy (imagine that) on Friday night, but the service was still fabulous. Even if you dont eat anything, there's live music after 9pm on Friday and Saturday. There's a marvelous atmosphere of yesteryear where countless celebs over the decades have discussed contracts, cut deals, and perhaps even fired a leading lady over martinis!
