"For the time that I was employed for Ace Handyman Services of Grafton. Work was promised to be year round. However, work became so slow they could not keep us busy no more than 20 hours per week for most of the winter. Then when I quit to support my family with a 40 plus hours a week job, they now cut my last 19 hour paycheck down to minimum wage of $7.25 per hour taken from me from $28.00 dollars per hour that I was making at the time. At no time through the slow periods did the owner ever tell any of us thanks for hanging in there guys during this slow period. I was told that I disrupted the flow of business When I quit. However, that's impossible because we were not working enough hours during the week to disrupt the flow. But he obviously never thought about the diruptive flow of taking care of my family as well. As an employer caring about his employees. The only thing I'll miss are my fellow carpenters that I had the pleasure working with."
