"What a horrid experience offered by a very unpleasant man. Perry is polite at first, but given any amount of time he will show his very unpleasant colors. When I entered the store he called me “darl’n” that’s fine. When I asked to handle a pistol he then called me “kid,” I’m a grown woman. That was just the start. For some reason I allowed this man to yell his politics at me and my boyfriend for a very long time. My boyfriend said he wanted to understand Perry and give him a chance… but there is no hope here. Perry ranted and raved, and called us a lot things. He said he was proud to hollar at the “liberals” coming into his store trying to buy guns. "Liberals” don’t BUY guns. And we are blue-collar, gun owning people who came from a ranch with our own chickens… this guy is something else! We fled this shop and will NEVER EVER return. Spend your cash another place. We left for shops very far away, once we told them we drove an hour to see them because our local FFL was a piece of work. EVERY shop we talked to looked at us and said, “Was it Perry? Yeah, we get A LOT of his customers driving over the hill. He’s… something.” FLEE! RUN! IT’S NOT WORTH A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME!"

"Perry is the sort of fellow who, when confronted with anything that disagrees with his worldview, or in meeting a person who knows something he does not—believes that shouting and denial mean he wins. For example: if you ask for a common gun by its model and he does not remember that gun. He will not respond like a normal person who might then say, "I don't remember that one, let me look it up real quick." He is more likely to say, "Nope. Doesn't exist. Nope. You're wrong!" If you think it makes sense to shout "liberal fools!" at blue-collar, ranch-raised people, who are... trying to BUY MORE GUNS o_0 then this guy will be your next best friend! If you enjoy yelling, believe the world is flat, think lithium powered cars are the devil (unless they use "reliable lead acid"), climate change is a hoax, and all facts are made up unless you made them up (then they're real), then you will really like this guy. If you have any common sense or human decency, you might not enjoy interacting with this fella for more than 10 seconds. Take your money literally ANYWHERE else!"

"Perry's shop is very nice. He, himself, is very respectful and treats his customers very well. Today was my third time coming to his shop, and it was just the same as the first. The guy that was working there was very informative and patient. I can't recommend this place enough. I wish I could have brought my dad to this place."

"Bad Experience : go anywhere else! Highly unprofessional Staff spreading bad information! Came in with cash to buy and left because it was so bad. Perry spreads False Firearm Information and Technical Info… to a ridiculous degree. Perry doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He gets angry and belligerent when corrected with sources. Was shocked with bad the customer service was. Just go to Santa Cruz Armory, a gun show, or over the hill… (Reading other reviews mentioning the Alcohol would make the interactions make so much sense)"

"All these people leaving bad reviews are absolutely crazy. These are all people calling in and not realizing that this man has a business to run he can't sit on the phone and talk about everything they want to talk about. Don't leave a bad review because you're lazy and won't get in your car and go down and see the man. When I walk into the store he had six customers waiting. Not very fair for him to sit on the phone for 15 minutes and neglect those customers that took the time to get in their car and go see him. My experience was excellent and I highly recommend Perry's"
