"I just wanted to pass along for managers and maybe to remember the lost art of customer service. I am a member and I love the place and for the most part I enjoy spending tons of money there, great selection. My problem is I came in for a hitting bay reservation the guy at the counter was awesome and called back to someone to get it started. I was in one bay and another guy was in the bay next to me my time was at 11am and so was his. We both stood there for 6 minutes and no one showed up it was now 11 am and he and I were like where is the person so I went down to the instruction areas where two employees were chatting and laughing with no customer just among themselves, I asked could they get someone to start the hitting bays and I was told "yeah I'll get someone" not like he was doing anything. I went back and myself and the other guy continued to wait it was now 11:07, I went to the front and again the nice young guy at the counter along with 4 guys talking who appeared to be manager types were talking. The young guy was very nice and apologetic and one of the Manger types, "very short guy" said ok, ok we'll get someone, as to dismiss me. The younger counter guy was still apologizing and walking back with me and he ended up doing it himself, 11:10 now. Myself and the other fella that was waiting were just amazed at how many people are working and standing around but then get put out when someone asks for a little help. Again remember people spend a lot of money in this store which is a luxury not a necessity so I would think the customer service especially on a slow morning would be a lot better and a little more helpful. My old thought is if you don't like working there or the customers seem to be bothering you then maybe another line of work should be considered. It's a customer based store, and we were not asking for a lot, just come turn the machine on. DO Your Job...."

"My husband and I have bought various clubs here in the past year here and have had good experiences with the sales reps on the floor and at the fitting bays. I have even won a free wedge from the grand opening raffle last year! However, we visited to test a stiff vs regular flex shaft today per a recommendation from a different bay attendant from another visit for my husband. My husband asked to try out some clubs and one of the bay attendants on a Sunday at 1pm (10-22-2023) directly asked him if he was looking to buy clubs or just “mess around”? We’re not sure what mess around meant in his context, but my husband said yes.. because he wanted to test shafts to possibly change out his irons/driver. But the attendant did not probe us further. The attendant directly showed us to simulation boxes in the back and told us “we are not a driving range” with an extremely dismissive and judgmental attitude. We left shortly after due to this passive aggressive and unhelpful attitude. Next time we will probably try different shafts with another attendant, but will most likely purchase golf items and have a fittings elsewhere."

"As a younger player a bit new to the game, I’d prefer ordering online to avoid what was my experience at the Dublin store. I likely spend too much on golf equipment, but I love the game and I’m always impressed with the technology added to equipment each season and I was looking for a store to fit me and grow with. This Dublin location isn’t the place for me or young players. This store seems to suit more “specific” players. I, like many others was not offering a fitting nor any interaction with the fitting staff although I was literally buying a new driver. I’ve been playing long enough to understand golf etiquette which I extend to golf shops. I came in to exchange a club, that experience wasn’t problematic. I’d called ahead on previous days to have a club held till I could exchange and pay the difference. I did. I had a new grip installed. As it relates to me being a newer player, I admit I should have inspected the club to ensure I wasn’t being sold a used club and a new price. Neither the salesperson who held the driver at my request, the additional sales person who sold me the club, nor the grip installer noticed this club, covered in sales stickers was used? Much of the matte paint on the top of the face has been chipped away from strikes. Consequently, I called to ask if this location sold used items. The salesperson on the phone said that they did infect sell used clubs but it would be indicated on the receipt. It isn’t. As mentioned earlier, I will return this club, but I’ll be inconvenienced to make the drive again and waste a day, and I’ll be armed with the knowledge that this location will deceive its customers for a marginal profit and cater to its more “specific” customers. Now, you all know too. Cautionary tale: I read the reviews prior to going to this Dublin location but considered the poor reviews outliers, erroneously."

"The customer service was top-notch at the PGA Superstore! The store is very clean with a huge selection of golf clothes and products, including sale and pre-owned sections. We only intended to try out a single driver and iron at the demo bay, but the associate was great about offering advice and suggesting different clubs based on (stats from) our swing. Two other associates even gave recommendations based on our price point, and all of them were very friendly yet professional throughout the process. Without their input, we would've just stuck with the first clubs we tried. Thanks to their willingness to help, we came out with a better idea of what was suitable for our skill level and considerations for potential clubs, including the right golf shaft. We were pleasantly surprised but how much we learned from the experience and definitely recommend checking them out!"

"I drove over an hour to get fitted for clubs here and it was well worth the drive! I was fitted by Jake Garvin in the STUDIO, he was excellent. Jake is extremely knowledgeable and offered supreme customer service. He also made the process fun and stress-free. If you are considering getting fitted for any golf clubs in Central California or the Bay Area I highly recommend seeing Jake and the PGA team in Dublin. For comparison I checked out Golf Galaxy later in the day because Jake was booked up after my session, and the experience there wasn't even in the same league. Jake and the PGA Superstore team is in a league of their own. The store and facility itself are brand new, and the place is HUGE, they have everything you can think of. Also wanted to shout out the team in the repair area, accommodated my long drive back home and swapped out some grips quickly, I didn't get the man's name but he was great as well. Keep up the great work PGA Superstore Dublin!"
