"Why all the hype?...nothing to buy except clothes. I was expecting so much more. I thought this would be an alternative to REI but no way...poorly stocked. A few tents, a few bags..not even sure I saw backpacks. Not even close to what is available online. Doubt it will last long. Forget trying to get someone to assist with a purchase, worse than Macy's. Tried to buy some shoes and the employee pretty much just tossed the box to me...zero concern, help or interest in helping in any manner."
"The selection isn't as large as I thought, but they do sell some more unique items that REI doesn't carry. The clerk wasn't sure if they will carry skis during the winter season so I'll probably make another trip before 23-24 skiing season starts again."
"A great new addition at Stanford mall and to sports and outdoor equipment in the peninsula. They may not have a lot of salesperson compared to REI but I’m glad they finally have a physical store here in the Bay Area."
