"Nice little free museum with very limited hours. Fortunately, I was able to go on my lunch break. The volunteers are outstanding. It's unfortunate about their hours because few if any people show up at that time."

"This place was an Army hospital during and after WWII, then became a mental health treatment facility. Most of the grounds now are used for Placer county administration. Very knowledgeable docents. Only open Wednesday afternoons."
