"The Service Provided and HR department is garbage. These people will do everything in their power to do the bare minimum and keep you from getting adequate coverage or even show you the terms/conditions/policy so you can make an appeal after rejection. I spoke to a representative named Alondra on the phone, she was unfamiliar and unable to even show me her own companys policy to covering essential medical procedures that were out of contact. Be prepared to spend hours on the phone/surfing the web just to find something that you would expect to be given to you immediately upon request. It's an absolute clown fest. Be prepared to do the work to force these people to do their job, and be prepared to jump through a bunch of hoops so that you can get coverage. Do not rely on their "representatives" you can't trust what they tell you at face value , I recommend getting legal counsel advice if you need to start the appeal process."

"My Autistic daughter was assigned to Alameda Alliance by Medi-Cal. I called and they want to talk to my non-verbal daughter so she can confirm I'm the guardian. I wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. I called again hoping the first call was mistaken. The second call INSISTED she talk to my daughter. My daughter made her little noises and threw my mobile. Are these people stupid or what? Still no progress of getting some sense out of Alameda Alliance's warped system. Response to Alameda Alliance: (Please refer to their response below). I couldn't figure out google chat so instead called Alameda Alliance to speak with a person since their response was "they would help me". After waiting and waiting to talk to the right person, Alameda Alliance told me my daughter is NO LONGER a member. This confirms my assessment that dealing with Alameda Alliance is futile. I hope this review goes viral so many would know that Alameda Alliance is a big joke! And it's not even funny."

Having this coverage means EVERY SINGLE HEALTH ISSUE STAYS UNRESOLVED. And simple issues that can be resolved in weeks drag out and exacerbate for a decade.
