"After decades of patronizing Kwik Trip stores in the area, I just had my first unpleasant experience. Today, 10-10-2023, I made up a brat and a beef hotdog and also picked up a donut that was complementary from a previous visit. At the checkout, the clerk told me they couldn't give me a complementary donut because the "rewards program" wasn't working at that time. I said "OK, I will return the donut to the showcase". She said "that wouldn't be possible because I had handled it." In fact I had used the provided wrappers to pick it up and hadn't physically touched it. I said "It's not my fault the "rewards program" wasn't operating" and she said that "It wasn't her fault either" and couldn't give me a donut without paying for it herself. Apparently the adage "the customer is always right" no longer applies. So I paid for the donut and brat and hot dog and left. The donut cost won't impoverish me. Maybe I am naïve, but I believe businesses and their clerks should do better than what I experienced."
"Very friendly staff. I also take all of the great hot meals, produce, and overall selection for granted until I make a trip out of state. Kwik Trip really is great, and this one is better than most!"
"They very rarely have any breakfast ready for customers and just today I got two tornadoes FULL of hair - inside and out. So I will not be returning to this garbage Kwik Trip. Only reason I gave two stars is because the staff are friendly enough."
