"I have been a resident here for 5 years. Last week the maintenance supervisor Chris banged on my door and demanded I open. He then proceeded to verbally assault and berate me over some perceived grievance. This comes months after I was physically assaulted and sent to the hospital by a resident. Not exactly a safe and welcoming environment"

"My spouse and I have lived here for 3 years, through the beginning of Covid until now. It's been a very positive experience. Sonoma is located in a quiet neighborhood next to other residential houses and condos and close to Kaiser hospital. The surrounding area is generally peaceful, friendly and conveniently located off the freeway (but not so close that it's a disturbance.) Our neighbors were always friendly and mostly kept to themselves. People always stop to ask if they can pet our two dogs. It definitely gives a home vibe. We've had issues along the way, whether it's appliances wearing out or summer ants showing up, but they've always been addressed quickly and efficiently. We had both our washer and water heater replaced within the same week we put in a request and at no cost to us. All in all, anything negative I could say would be minor and was always addressed to our satisfaction. If you decide to move into the Sonoma apartments you'll quickly find yourself renewing your lease every year like we did. Though we've moved to a new area, we will miss the friendly staff and the convenience of having so many things located within 15 minutes of us. Don't hesitate to rent at Sonoma."

"I just want to give a shout out to this community and the staff. I called around to different places yesterday to tour and was turned down repeatedly due to the rain. Sonoma is the only community that welcomed me in and even gave me hot cocoa to keep me warm on the tour. The grounds are so green and beautiful, very well taken care of and I loved the apartment that I saw. I felt like I would really be taken care of if I lived here. Definitely recomend!"

"The kind staff and the beauty of this community are what make this home. I am so glad this is where we have chosen to live for the next few years. The entire staff is caring, knowledgeable and efficient in their service and maintenance. The company has great processes in place to report and manage service repairs and bill pay. The grounds are so peaceful, clean and very safe. Ample parking available is a plus! The beautiful appointed apartment homes have crown molding and other upgrades with just add to the comfort. I would recommend to anybody to call Sonoma at Mapleton home."
