"One year lease ending summer of 2020. Recurring and deeply concerning health and safety issues left unaddressed and unresponded to by management. It’s natural for tenants to have friction in their relationship with landlord, but my (and several of my neighbors’) experience left us repeatedly considering legal action against the company. I’ve never written a negative review online, but feel an obligation to others after experience in Indie Westside. Do not rent."

"It looks like a SCAM! They showed me the house via a virtual tour but never answered me afterwards, they're just changing their price on other websites to a higher price. No response to your calls and txts. Do not waste your time with them, you may miss other good places for rent."

"After the virtual interview, I asked the management/the person who showed me the place, about the price, because the posted price on their website was higher from the one on Zillow/Apartment List. The guy literally ghosted me, he read my messages and did not respond. I called a few times, no answer. Later I realized that he had increased the price on third-party websites. Waste of time!"

"I just moved out in February not because of the apartment really but because Cornelius is literally the rudest, weirdest most unhelpful property manager I’ve ever dealt with. The office is open 6 hours a week and even during those hours he’s not there and unresponsive. When I moved out I emailed him no joke 6 times to just try and confirm he got my keys and everything and he has yet to respond. I knew he wasn’t a good manager when he got in the elevator with me and a prospective tenant and legit did not acknowledge my presence at all or say hello.... he’s extremely off maybe he hates his job or Idk but I would highly suggest you do not spend tour money to move here if you expect a decent manager of the building cause he is not component it seems."

"The management team at Indie Westside is untrustworthy, dishonest, and unreliable, and I am abhorred by their incompetence and unprofessional behavior. I lived at Indie Westside for almost two years and moved out in November 2018. SIX MONTHS later and I still have not received my security deposit back. The management team is stealing money from my former roommate and I, whether they have intended to or not. Cornelius (works at front desk) doesn't know how to return phone calls, reply to emails, or properly handle anything that a property manager should. His boss, Josh Muller, is even worse - what kind of slimy, deceiving person would keep thousands of dollars from former residents for SIX PLUS MONTHS? I finally just spoke with someone in Accounts Payable and they confirmed that Josh Muller failed two separate times to communicate a re-issue request of my security deposit check - once in Jan 2019 and once in March 2019. He is a pathetic excuse for a regional property manager. Living in the complex was fine unless you needed assistance with anything. In my first year, a pipe in the parking garage leaked corrosive material on the hood of my car. Management told me it was not their responsibility. The elevator almost never worked. The air conditioning and plumbing failed us consistently, and management was difficult to get ahold of in those situations as well. When they helped with repairs, I was reminded that they were doing me a favor - they told me they didn't have any obligation to help. Ha!"
