"Imagine renting to college students for a living... Considering this incredibly thankless job, Dean Brunner Rentals is amazing. Great integrity and honesty. Quick response times and very professional. I know terrible owners/slum lords, and renting from DBR has been a dream. Just don't try to pull the wool over their eyes. "TLDR: Do not rent from Dean Brunner if you want to have a decent living experience. Poor communication: water was constantly shut off for repairs in other units but no one was ever informed. Terrible customer service: My roommate sent a repair request for the building’s washer, her clothes having been ruined by the broken washer. Leticia, Jamie’s associate/assistant, checked the washer later that day. The walls are thin so we heard her yell profanities and awful things about my roommate and tenants in general, as well as kick and slam the washer shut. I’ve never seen anything like that before. Keep receipts for EVERYTHING!: the owner tried to have us PAY on top of our entire security deposit she was attempting to take even though we had an agreement with her about moving out early and ending our lease soon (for her own benefit). After an email with attached receipts, she mailed all of us a partial security deposit with no explanation, two days before our 21 day deadline to request our FULL deposits."
"Super rude management that truly only cares about profiting from college students by exploiting their position on power. If that wasn't lovely enough, they are also incredibly unprofessional and aggressive in the way they respond to tenant's concerns/questions. I would highly encourage anyone looking to sign a lease with them to look elsewhere as they will rip you off and constantly give you terrible customer service for no reason. Head this review and other reviews and get a property elsewhere!"
"Whoever answered my phone call at the office was so rude. She had such an unfriendly tone. She addressed my concerns with so much attitude. Glad I am no longer renting from them."
