"What a cool little museum! The story of this 4 hour, 4 mile high fire is unbelievable! We loved all the artifacts that were on display. If you're in Hinkley getting donuts from Tobie's, it's worth stopping by the Fire Museum & learning more about their history!"
"Wow 415 souls lost in this fire. The history of the museum was good. Take the drive to the cemetery to the mass grave of the lives lost that day."
"Well done museum with just the right amount of knowledge. Does an excellent job at capturing the events, feelings and perseverance of the pioneers. I can only imagine the terror that day."
"This place is incredible!!! as a Minnesotan, born and raised you always here legends about the fire, but this was so much more then that!!! this is a must see stop!!! Go get lunch at tobeys then an hr, hr and half here at the museum and DONT forget to go see the mass grave and memorial!!!! seriously this is a must see!!!!"
"Amazing museum halfway to Duluth from Minneapolis on I35 (MNDOT signs will point you to it which is helpful) Went on a slow day and was given a personal tour by a volunteer which was great especially since the volunteers are locals and are more than happy to answer any questions and talk about the region. Museum is much larger than I thought it was and was able to spend over an hour before I saw everything which was a very welcome surprise. Took as many pictures as I could but they don't really do the museum justice in showing how in depth and large it is. Also great prices in the gift shop. If your on I35 towards Duluth definitely check it out."
