"Wanted a personal tour and was never greeted or given where the home office is to meet. Called and spoke with a person who wanted more information about me, to confirm what marketing channel brought me to location. The overall experience was less than 100% professional and I will choose not to rent from this complex. It seems challenging to find a human to take the time represent this facility to like minded neighbors. I have been a Bay Area native my entire life, and frankly, did not appreciate the interaction."

"The only good thing about this place is the location. I moved out months ago, spent $300 to have my apartment professionally cleaned and am still waiting for the return of my $225 cleaning fee. The apartment was noticably cleaner when I left than when I moved in. I was advised that a refund check was on it's way and I'm still waiting six months later. I've called and texted many times. When I moved into the apartment the manager (Crystal) and handyman (Len) were wonderful and very responsive and capable. After a couple of months a new team arrived and things immediately went downhill. The outside walkways were slick went it rained (I've seen people slip), a couple of inches of rain collected in front of my apartment door when it rained and the elevators were not reliable. In one of the buildings you had to jump up and down to get the elevator to move to a different floor. The elevator inspection was out of date (by a lot). Unfortunately I've had to recommend acquaintances look elsewhere for an apartment. Don't move here!"

"I took my parents to visit Town Center and they are excited to move in! The property manager, Crystal, could not be more delightful. She walked me through the ins and outs of the property over the phone before we visited, then took us on a tour, explained with great patience how everything works, and helped us through the application process. We met a few people who live there while we were walking around and they had great things to say about the convenience and comfort of living there. Thanks Crystal for all your help!"

"I have been living here for 5 years now, and I love it. This place is perfect for me because the location is prime. Walking distance to three different groceries stores, boutiques clothes and specialty shops, less than a 10 minutes leisurely walk to BART, good restaurants and cafes, two drug stores, several banks, and tons of nail and hair salons all within a one mile radius of the center of Lafayette. Lafayette is a nice bedroom community, which I feel safe here. The police department is so responsive. For instance, when I lost my ID in town. Someone returned it to the Lafayette police station; the policeman took it to the Town Center office manager, and my ID was returned to me within two days! What I like about Town Center Apartments is the office manager Claudia, and the very responsive and considerate maintenance staff Dave and Miguel. They are all professional, friendly, responsive, efficient, and reasonable. They take good care of maintaining the apartment complex and grounds. The office has limited open office hours, but eventually they will get back with you in a timely manner. The apartment features I like about this place is that it is gated and apartment complex appearance is well kept, secured gated covered parking, nice spacious floor layouts, central heating and air conditioning, communal gym with updated equipment, a community room, outdoor patio and BBQ areas, lots of trees and a near by Happy Valley Creek, and the super short walk to BART."
