"Came back 4 times cause the lab does not read orders and CONSTANTLY misses labs ordered by doctor. You act as the doctor when you go and you literally have to tell the lab people what labs you’re doing and count, micromanage, and supervise them to ensure you are getting all of your tests done"

"I am here often to do my labs and i have never been greeted like this before by the front desk Sebrina on the second floor. She was welcoming not only for me but for the guests/patients that was there in line before me. Her smile is contagious and we need more people like her specially in health care field as people coming with a lot of other stress. She made my day and I'm sure everyone else that was greeted and served by her too. She is outstanding."

I’m not saying she is a bad doctor she’s smart but when someone doesn’t feel well they expect to feel that your provider has empathy for you , and her words said the correct things but her demeanor spoke louder to prove opposite . she is not my pcp , and I’m glad she isn’t (again smart individual) but in the 10 mins we spoke she made it clear that it was her show( not mine ) When she would ask questions she would expect immediate answers and when I would provide them she would correct me or pressure me into thinking faster . I am not poor historian of my medical health , but I been through more than usual with my health this past month ,so forgive me if my ducks weren’t all lined up in a row . There was point she realized I had mentally checked out of the visit and just didn’t even bother asking any questions -because again it was her own show, she was only willing to answer them whenever she wanted . Which in my opinion is wrong , I get it you have a plan and your going get there but I am the patient not you. she reminded me about my anxiety and why I hate going to doctors. Her attitude was very ED style and that’s not what you expect in primary care scenario. She tried to make small talk at the end as she was discharging me and I just wasn’t up for it . I been with Kaiser for over 15 yrs , and never carried so heavily with me the way a provider treated me. This isn’t to cause problems, but maybe just be nicer and remember we are in charge of our visit - and when I say “we” I am referring to the medical team: YOU and the patient : ME , so what if I asked a question earlier than you planned to answer it ? But I am not 5 yrs old and don’t expect to be treated like that , two adults should be able to have a conversation without fear of being out of order on YOUR agenda ."

"If you advertise your flu shots are being given (Saturday) from 8:30 am until 12:00 pm, then do not cut off two patients waiting at 11:50 am. We were told after waiting in the hallway that you take your last patients at 11:45 am. No signage. Text message sent via Kaiser alerting us to your flu shot hours says 8:30 am to 12pm. Please communicate and do not waste your patients time."

"Dr. Jonathan Brick and his nurse Kana are great. They are so friendly and kind and always make you feel as if you were the only patient that they had. They never rush you or make you feel uncomfortable. Always listening to your concerns and are simpathetic to your illness."
