"I have been living in the township since November 2023, I am delighted with this place, it is very clean and a very safe place, what I liked most is the customer service, Mr. HONG is very friendly, he is always ready to answer all my questions. questions and help me solve any problems, thank you very much MR. HONG 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE."
"Township had the audacity to bill me for cleaning charges, when the catalyst for my move out was their failure to respond to my requests to clean the dirty apartment they presented to me from the outset. They wouldn't even replace the bulb in my refrigerator for goodness' sake. Nor did they ever replace the bulbs in my kitchen and bathroom. (I lived there briefly, and these were issues from the beginning.) Misaligned cabinet doors in the kitchen and bathroom, incorrect electrical wiring, and over a dozen hideous DIY spackling jobs. These surely were not the "luxurious features" they boast about on their website. My move-in checklist, photos, texts, and emails all corroborate my claim. To add insult to injury, I responded to their email about the move-out charges a month ago and have yet to receive a response. Please save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. One redeeming quality is that they offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee, which I certainly took advantage of."
"One star extends to overall experience till now. Updated on 11/1/2023 I received a notification email saying the partnership with Airbnb for Township residents. Nobody has asked whether the residents want the partnership or not. No hearing sessions have collected the voice of the residents. And this new thing was not written in my lease agreement. It is good to see the potential opportunity to earn extra money, but this may impact the safety and comfortness of the residents as a group since it may make the FOB access system making no sense. However, if you don't mind paying the rent for luxury apartments but living in a potentially partial residential and partial Airbnb community, here is the place. Updated on 8/10/2023 7:43pm: Email received on 1:29pm. Some issues got addressed. Leftover issues need to be followed up by Hong on 8/11. 1:21 PM: Nobody contacted today till now while the reply said they would contact me between 11 AM-1 PM today. My recent email has not been replied either. Updated on 8/9/2023: My first package theft happened today. Sent email asking about this and other issues to fix. I moved in today(8/5/2023). One star only for the upset experience today. Today I had my worst move-in experience in my whole life. A lot of issues should have been avoided but still happened. Followed are details. Got the move-in instruction email around 9:45 AM. Received the confirmation email around 10:58 AM stating that the FOBs, parking garage clickers, and mailbox keys were ready in my unit. When I arrived, I found future resident parking spots were all occupied. I can tell the cars were not all from future residents. I hope there will be some solutions to mange these parking spots better. The instruction to access the building did not work. After calling the service phone number, I got an alternative way to access the building. During the phone call dealing with building access issue, I found out my name was not added in the access system. It seems like the team was not ready for me to move in. Unfortunately, my guess was correct. When I went into my unit only two mailbox keys were ready. No FOBs, No garage clickers, No move-in documents. Kitchen table was dusty. There was trash in kitchen water sink, trash in toilet, dead light bulb. I have to call multiple times and wait for a couple hours to just hear a proper timeline. At that time, the team was not sure what was going on and whether I can still move in today but they started charging my rent. Here is what I found out during phone calls with customer service team and in-person conversation with maintenance team. The customer service team was attributing my upset move-in experience to system error which showed my unit was ready for moving in last month. However, the maintenance team told me they just received a pre move-in maintenance order for my unit after 11 AM today (on Saturday). Typically, the maintenance team needs a couple days to a week to plan and complete their work after receiving the order. No one had informed them there was someone moving in today. Apparently, it got messed up. The team came up with a solution finally, but that is their job to make up their own mistakes. The solution was that maintenance team had to take the work in my unit as an emergency situation during weekends. I was waiting for another couple of hours for the release of the unit to move in. I feel sorry for pulling the maintenance team back to work during weekends. There are still tiny issues to fix, but I was finally able to move in on the same day. Things could always be worse. I appreciate the coordination from the team to solve the issues after I informed them, but overall it was a terrible and frustrating moving in experience."
"If you plan on living here for more than 1 year, do not live here. Upon my lease ending, I received an email with a 10%+ increase to my rent for both month-to-month and year-long lease renewal. When signing your lease, management will probably not tell you about the excessive fees they charge: $80/month for sewage, $41/month for trash, and a $5/month service fee for tenants to use this portal (that we have to use). These were my fees for 1 person living in a 1 bed/1 bath. When I moved in, I spoke with someone who told me that building utilities averaged $50/month, not $120. Township also painted the outside of the building from August-October and our balconies were unusable. These are arguably the best months to use a balcony weather-wise & we had to move all furniture off into our apartments for 2+ months while the balconies were covered in plastic wrap during painting. They did not offer to reimburse us for this inconvenience and then had the audacity to send out a rent increase (since they inconvenienced us to make the building more aesthetically pleasing and modern looking to get more money). I've also had staff show up on different days than they said for 'unit inspections'. Make sure you set up a ring camera/alarm if you do end up living here so you know when people are in your apartment when they shouldn't be. The brand new building next door is also cheaper, so I'd recommend looking there first."
"Want to pay luxury rates but get sub standard quality? Come live at Township. They claim to be a luxury apartment complex and charge luxury rates but they don't provide nearly the same amenities and the condition of the whole complex is in terrible shape. - No Property Manager on site or No Concierge - Theft - People getting into the mailroom and garage to steal. We literally had a package stolen not too long ago. - For the past 2.5 years we lived here here are some outside and inside shared space amenities that never worked: TVs, Speakers, Ice Machine, Fireplace (indoor), Water fountain. - Want Spider problems? Since they are near the creek they get a ton of spiders every year. - Like Pigeon poop? They also have a community of Pigeons residents that poop all over the place. - Want to be overall neglected? Check out the countertop, image below. Also walk into the garbage chute room, frequently full. Packages delivered? Sorry, sometimes delivery people cant get in because no one is staffed on site so your package will be left outside now and then. - Oh did I mention that they'll try to raise rent on you 10% a year regardless of market rate of similar complexes or the quality of their amenities? Well there is that too. They're betting on the fact that you're not wanting to move after the lease term up and that you'll eat the 10% every year. They've also threaten you if you go month to month by saying they can raise the rent again on you in 3 months. - Imagine leasing a "Luxury" car and the dash board, air conditioner, and stereo doesn't work. They also lend you the car with spiders and bird infestation. Then they jack up the price on you every year 10% even though you can lease a similar car down the street without these problems. That is what its like living at Township. - Don't take my word for it. Come take a tour and check out these things yourself. Or look at many of the other reviews here in the recent years."
