"My colleagues and I booked this hotel because of how close it is to our office, but beyond convenience of location, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Two of the days I was staying there, there was a plumbing issue so they had major construction happening in the lobby. I understand unexpected things can happen, but the building manager did not seem to understand that not being able to hear myself think when I had planned on taking a meeting from the room, is an issue. When you book a room, you assume you won't have to vacate that room for the day and if you had to, you'd be compensated for that. They did not offer any compensation for this issue, and I felt like I received attitude when that was suggested. Aside from the loud drilling happening underneath my room, it is also very noisy in the rooms from the noise outside. I think they know this because they provide ear plugs. Fortunately noise doesn't bug me much when i'm sleeping, but if it bothers you, I wouldn't recommend staying here. In addition to the noise issues, this hotel canceled two of my colleagues reservations with one colleague only finding out once she tried to check in. This is just unacceptable. All in all, this was a very disappointing experience."

"Loved it! VERY prompt and personal customer service. Lovely and clean rooms designed for maximum functionality in a small space. Would stay here again. Thoughtful layout as well—even found a white noise machine in one of the drawers. Stood out to me compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at ❤️"

"Great value for dollar spent. Not ideal for a group booking but for colleagues staying near by I would recommend it for them to choose it themselves. The rooms are small (compact) and amenities are available upon request (laundry and supplies) but the staff are very responsive and friendly. If you've traveled in Japan the rooms are reminiscent of that with their compact design but they have everything you would need in them. Seems to be a franchise owned and operated by a local family? That was nice and the location was great if you're trying to be in redwood City."

"It was a great experience. I recommend as a centralized location in Redwood City. Near everything you need to get to. The room is well thought out, every space is utilized well. Loved the handwritten note, shower amenities, and complimentary fruit in the lobby. The ease for entry ways and 24/7 text service is awesome, too. I would book here again."
