"Usually have a great experience but Kwanita is new and unpleasant Updated: the pharmacy manager Paul reached out to me about my review on medallia. I use medallia at work, I know that because I gave bad scores regarding my visit he has to reach out. He asked if I had a time and day that I could chat over the phone about my recent visit. I gave him a time window and day. I emailed him the morning of the day I was available with my phone number because I’d forgotten that information and was not followed up with. I’ll go into more detail about my visit on Oct 31st, 2022 at the CVS Pharmacy on this review. The new pharmacy tech seemed confused which is fine, they have a couple pretty new people and I don’t mind people training. Their demeanor was kind of rude right off the bat too though. I asked if I could shelve my medication and pick up a couple meds for someone else, shelve one of their meds. The tech asked me for my relationship to the person I was picking up for which I’ve never had someone at a pharmacy ask. I’ve picked up for family members and partners and never had that be asked. I was picking up for my partner and I told her I was picking up for my partner. She went and picked up 3 of them and came back and said, “that’s not all, there’s more”. I feel like it’s super unprofessional to comment on the amounts of medication someone is picking up. I told her we needed to shelve one and that two of the meds were the same, exact same milligrams and everything. She said okay…. And just looked at me. I just let her scan the meds and asked to check out hand soap and mouth wash there too. She didn’t scan those and rung up the meds. When I asked why we didn’t ring the soap and mouth wash up, she said she thought I was still shopping. It was so bizarre, I felt like she didn’t care, didn’t know what she was doing, I felt like I wasn’t being listened to. I felt like after I said I was picking up for my partner she was acting very weird. I’ve never had someone ask that, and I wonder if that’s normal procedure at pharmacies. It was very eerie and Halloween-ish. Updated again 12/8: Gave them 2 stars because they offer narcan at this location. They’ll write a script for anyone. My line of work makes myself and my coworkers nervous that we’ll encounter an opioid overdose, it is a useful program."

"They get busy a lot and they seem overwhelmed. They try hard but I think they need more help in the pharmacy."
