Walmart Pharmacy

"I really like this pharmacy because is close to where I live. I feel for the people working there though. They are extremely understaff. I am originally from a different country so this is a surprise to me that the same person who is working at the front goes back later, and fills my prescription. This must be very stressful.. Also how sanitary it is? Walmart should be ashamed of themselves. There is no glass separating workers, and customers! Can you imagine working all day with sick people? I left 3 stars, and I hope that someone out there shares my opinion."

"I notice that many ratings have one star. But notice that those ratings were mostly from years ago. This is my favorite pharmacy. Everyone there has been so kind. But they know their stuff. They have all helped my family through many a crisis. They have also made suggestions on how to navigate the insurance companies, or purchase without insurance, or contact the doctor, plus many more. They have helped us save time and money and they've been patient with us at some of our worst moments."

"If I could give this a 0star I would. The new pharmacist was extremely rude . She walked away from the conversation and went to her phone . I asked for her name and she ignored me then I kept asking and she was being rude to the other employees. She finally wrote her name and when I called 3 days later for my same prescription she pretended to be the pharmacist supervisor and continued to be rude. Her name is Ninah Patel (I’m not sure if this is real ) she was extremely prejudice . This is the last time I will use Walmart pharmacy in Santee. She better be taken care of."

"This is, by far, the worst Walmart pharmacy I have dealt with. It’s worse than Going to The dmv.!!! They are continually out of stock of Prescriptions that I’ve been Filling at the same pharmacy for over two years. When I say out of stock, I mean.... they have refills and my information on file, I call ahead and do every single thing, the staff instructs of me. The information is always different, and usually incorrect, according to the next staff member I speak with both in person, and over the phone. The staff I have dealt with, has either no listening skills and or no communication skills at all, and it’s pretty much like talking to a wall. Seems like a very pass the buck employee mentality, and you’ll Get your scrip when you get it, whether that’s next week, or never. I am consistently given differing explanations, and or information when trying to have prescriptions filled. Today was my last try. I have given this pharmacy multiple, “ get outta jail free”, cards with literally, just plain Sucking at being a pharmacy. I’m over it. Customers should not have to feel like they have to be their own advocate, and harass a pharmacy to do what they’re here for, provide medications for which, they are paid large amounts of money to provide. This pharmacy is the worst place to deal With on a regular basis."

"I went to Walmart right after oral surgery with several prescriptions. I was directly behind one man at the drop off counter at 12:00 noon. 20 minutes later I was able to hand the woman my prescriptions. She said it would be 1 hour. I went to my car, changed the bloody gauze in my mouth, then sat on the bench in the pharmacy. After 1 hour, I went to the counter. They told me it my prescriptions were being worked on and it would be another 90 minutes. I went home to put an ice pack on my face., not understanding why it would take another hour and a half, but... At 4:30 I called, was on hold 8 minutes, and then was told they JUST called the doctor to verify the prescription. REALLY? 4.5 hours later and they just called the doctor? They said they couldn’t read his writing. But it took them 4.5 hours to even try. In the meantime, the anesthetic has worn off and I’m without the antibiotics and pain meds my doctor wanted me to have. Is this a pharmacy that cares? Is this a pharmacy that wants to provide great service? Is this a pharmacy that knows how to manage the load? I will be giving my business to another pharmacy from now on."
