"A simple phone call to see if they could get dog meds! I was put on hold & every time system would auto call, someone would slam it back to hold. This happened 5 (five) times in about 10 minutes. Yes, definitely go elsewhere."

"I have been using Costco pharmacy for years because they really did have the best customer service out of all of them especially as a chronic pain patient but as of late there is one pharmacist at this location that is very rude the rudest pharmacist I have ever dealt with is one by the name of Jeannie . She is extremely rude. She sighs and huffs and puffs all the time. She is not helpful in anyway and just very disrespectful. It’s unprofessional. And there’s a reason this pharmacy has gone down in reviews over the last year. It’s really a shame that you have these young rude, disrespectful people working there ruining your reputation."

"When I first started using the Temecula Costco pharmacy 10 years ago it was the best pharmacy experience I’d ever had. I’ve been a chronic pain patient for 15 years, Walmart and CVS pharmacists treated me like a dope fiend, I didn’t experience that at all when I first started going to this pharmacy. Times have changed in the last 18 months I’ve had issues that were so invasive and uncalled for filling my anxiety medication prescription that my pain doctor cut me off completely. Anxiety is a common issue for long term chronic pain patients, there are times when it’s so bad that my entire body shakes so uncontrollably that I can’t hold a glass or a fork. Tonight, 9-1-2023, took the cake. I went to get my 3 pm dose of pain medication and thought there weren’t many left considering I don’t see the pain doc until 9-13. I looked at the bottle and it was written for one every eight hours but only 60 pills. Long story short I would have been completely out of pain medication 9 days before my next appointment. I contacted my doc, she apologized and sent in an order for the 30 pills to make my prescription complete. I waited about 3 hours and called the pharmacy to see if they were ready, the pharmacist tells me that he won’t give me the rest of my medication until 9-12. After explaining basic math to him, 1 every 8 hours = 3 doses daily = 90 doses in 30 days. I finally insisted that he call my doctors private cell and put me on hold while she explained what I’d just explained to him. After 25 minutes he gets back on the line and tells me he will get my prescription ready. This was at 6:30 pm, he didn’t know that I’d been following the prescription on the Costco app and knew the prescription had been filled, he held it until 8:30 pm, on the dot, to text me with the prescription is ready text. I am transferring my prescriptions to the Murrieta Costco, this pharmacist I dealt with today has no business in the healthcare industry, I wouldn’t trust him to mop the floor. In the meantime I will be filing a complaint on his behavior with the state licensing board. I will not go back to the Costco pharmacy. If I could give it a negative star I would give it a negative 4.5."

"The Pharmacist here is SO RUDE and has HORRIBLE customer service. She’s a white, blonde, old woman. I complained to her about a different worker who refused to sell my boyfriend Medication I needed because I was at work and he was going to bring it to me and he explained that. I was so upset and disgusted that the worker refused to sell him my medication because “he’s not a member”. She’s an older woman who works the register and she’s on the bigger side, I didn’t get any of their names. Once I complained to the pharmacist she backed up the other worker and was completely rude to me and it got so bad that they had to call the store manager because of how rude the pharmacist was to me. She needs to be FIRED ASAP! Costco should NOT hire rude pharmacists and employees who refuse to sell medication to a client. I was in desperate need of it and I had to leave work early to pick it up and get this resolved. Luckily the store a manager corrected both of the women and explained that a customer can have someone else come in and buy medication on their behalf. The way the pharmacist was talking to me was completely disappointing, disgusting and disturbing. Costco PLEASE GET RID OF HER!! She’s ruining your reputation and this was NOT ok."

"If it wasn't for the front staff being accommodating, I would give them zero stars. "Almost ready" must be the first phrase the front staff learns (and reading the reviews, this is how they have operated for many years). Everything, every-time is "almost ready" and you have to wait 20-30 minutes. Whether it was submitted 2 hours or 2 days ago, it's "almost ready". My belief is that it is like Target Pharmacy was before being taken over by CVS. Target NEVER filled anything until you got there. Also, Costco's online renewal system is about 20 years behind the times. You better take a photo of the prescription number to use when you throw the box/wrapper away and the online or phone system ask you for the prescription number."
