"Used to love this location, but it’s clearly having issues with either staffing shortages or bad management. Have had multiple times in the past few months where there are simply no carts available (not during peak hours or busy holiday prep days, which are definitely understandable). But the most consistent issue has been the bakery. Haven’t compared to other Metro Market or Pick N’ Save locations, so unclear if it’s a chain-wide issue or just this location, but the buttercream frosting on the last couple of cakes or cupcake batches we’ve purchased has been vile. Like it tastes like biting into a stick of salted butter. This has only been an issue in the past year or so, so either the recipe has changed for the worse or new bakers are not properly trained."

"Nice store, mostly friendly staff. They rely on self checkout too much when half the staff is standing around watching the line get longer. I like the sales & the product selection. The produce is good and pricing is decent when on sale. The parking lot is the worst. Too many curbs, too tight for two way traffic with pedestrians. Hard to get in & out."

"I was looking for good hot food already made at supper time and the hot food bar was closed already at 5:45 pm why well they said its open for lunch and they close it by 6 now because less evening buisiness or short staffed. So you mean you don't sell hot fresh food at supper time that's very dumb let's get our act together metro mart."

"Checkers and service desk personal are rude. There are NEVER carts in store on a weekend. You have retrieve your own from outside. Shelves are never stocked. Check out lines are regularly 15+ people deep. And on the busiest holiday weekend there are 3 checkers and only 1 side of the slef the check out working. Will be finding a new store, probably Meijer"

"I don’t know what’s going on with the Friday fish fry.. it’s sooo dry and the batter isn’t the delicious one they used to have… maybe this version would be good if it was made to order, but it pales in comparison to the old recipe that could withstand the heat lamps/steam table thing. PLEASE BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS BATTERED COD.. you ruined a good thing and a staple for many locals"
