"My husband lost his brand new iPhone; we’re able to tract it to this Walgreen. With further movements showing on my iPhone, we were able to narrow down to a lady having our phone. After calling police per Walgreen security guard’s suggestion, that lady denied having it, went inside the store, bought paper towel and walked out. Then the pinning didn’t move, stayed inside Walgreen. How in the world that we could find the phone hiding behind thousands of merchandises? With a cashier, security guard, a tall young man (who offered to look at security camera if we couldn’t find it) and associate/Melissa’s help, we were able to find the phone covered under some fabric merchandise hiding behind the paper towel shelf. What Walgreen staff did was way beyond their call of duty. We really appreciate them. This is not the closest drugstore to us; will certainly be our only drugstore from now on."

"I've had a couple of encounters with homeless people at this Walgreens and just had to let you know, to be careful when you park here. There are often a few guys laying down on the ground just outside of the entrance. If you walk by them they may say something to you, if you don't say what they like in return, they may harass you. There is no security at this Walgreens so you have to be extra careful, because there are also homeless people in the alley behind this store so you may not see them. Inside the store is pretty decent, they keep everything nice and tidy and even have a bathroom with a code so that homeless people cannot go in there. By the way, the code does not stop homeless people. I have gone into the restroom and seen some very horrific things at this location, but at least they try. They have a wide selection of groceries and toiletries and even still sell CDs that you can burn. The managers here are really good about making sure the staff is all at their best, and also making sure that the homeless stay away from us."

"You'll wait a long time calling the pharmacy, but that expected for most pharmacies in the LA area. They are pretty good in every other aspect. Pharmacist Jose and Danielle are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. This is rare in Santa Monica."
