"This is certainly the nicest grocery store in Madison. This is a brand new Whole Foods location. It has high quality produce and a lot of organic options as well as a wide variety of foods, drinks, wines and cheeses. There's an olive bar and a cheese bar as well as the tea and coffee bar. The fruit is consistently fresh even when out of season which is unusual for this part of the country. The prices are on the higher end of what you'll find at Woodman's and other local stores in the area, but given the convenience and variety of selection, I think it's worth it. The store is very well lit and well designed. It has a parking lot that's connected with both underground and above ground parking levels. The underground parking is really nice in the winter when it's cold. I would say that the clientele appears fitter and healthier than the average grocery store that you'll find in Madison, which is interesting. But you won't find a lot of foods like Oreos or Doritos at this store, both of which I like by the way, lol."
"Bigger and Better in the new place. Easier to reach than before and looks very well lit, brighter. Due to additional space the store is also bigger. Same reliable and cost effective products. Parking is great and hope everyone has fabulous shopping experience."
"I miss the windows and old store but this one will do. I was able to find parking in the evening of Tuesday, 12/26 in the attached garage under the store. I can believe this would not be the case on a busy weekend day. The selection is just the same, just more spread out. If they should have afforded more space to anything it should have been the food bar - still running into people left and right. Yes, the escalators are opposite of what people expect and there aren’t any windows in the cafe area, but there are manned registers as well as self checkouts."
