"I submitted a complaint to the state of CA medical board against this doctor for the following malpractice which occured at the Kaiser hospital in 06/22 against my boyfriend: Hi, the doctor Jack Joon-Sung Choi MD in the San Diego area performaed malpractice against me. In late 2021, I had a severe pnemonia and a mold infection which came back as a unknown mold, and was on fluconazole for months. My symptoms returned so I went to the hospital. When I was admitted, the doctor did not take me seriously. I had to ask 3 times for a mold panel test to get ran and the doctor REFUSED. I then asked the nurses after the doctor refused, and the nurses spoke to the doctor and the nurses and doctor confirmed after I complained that they would run the mold panel test. The test came back, without the mold panel. I almost died before and SHAME on this doctor for LYING and REFUSING to run a NEEDED test. JACK JOON-SUNG CHOI MD, M.D. was the name of the doctor, thank you."
