"I have attended and participated in clinical research studies at CA Dermatology since 2019 if not before then. I was appreciated in three or more studies, up until the last one I participated in involving face filler injections. The filler caused facial lumps and although the doctors attempted to dissolve the silk protein product, they were unable to dissolve it completely. I was mistreated because I needed to be seen more often than the study required or the clinic was paid for. Angie the manager literally said I was taking advantage because I made an office visit monthly for the doctor to review the progress. By the way it took months to dissolve the lumps. There is still a fraction of it left. I was told it will dissolve on its own so I have waited a year. During this year and up to today I have applied for other of their studies. I thought it was not anything I had done that caused the lumps. Except I am ignored each time I apply. I dont receive a return call. I write in and I dont receive a reply, or I call in and the recruiter is never available and when I leave a message I dont receive a call back. I have applied for three studies during this year I have been waiting for my scar tissue to completely dissolve. This is retaliation for something I did not cause. Angie is in management and made my visit very uncomfortable. Dr. Smith was very much aware and allowed her to be rude. She try to prevent my follow ups by discouraging me from coming in. Dr. Smith seemed to be concerned about not being paid for those follow up visit that were outside the protocol because he would not be paid from the sponsor for the lump correction. They were unethical and I remain which appears to be a permanent scar. 1"

"My wife went for her first visit last week Prior to her going I felt like she had really given up Her condition is worse is worse than it has ever been in the 30 years we've been married. She told me abou a very kind young woman that held her hand and made a commitment to make her feel better and help her with her severe atopic dermatitis. The Hope alone has made her look forward to her next visit. We are all hoping to bring life back to my wife. We're banking on you Mary Kate. "Mary kates alright. Rest of the staff are rude and condescending, very unacceptable behavior for a professional environment. Not that you could expect anything less these days. I think these "healthcare heroes" here are really slaves to the drug companies anyway, just out for their 30 pieces of silver."

"Dr. Stacy and Mary Kate really do care for their patients. They have gone above and beyond, to help me with my psoriasis. I have participated in many clinical trials with them for about 3 years. They are professionals and make all the volunteers feel comfortable. Everyone there I've met, like Laura, Emily and the rest of the staff are very kind and efficient. "I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences at CA Dermatology and Clinical Research Institute. I have been in several Psoriasis studies, and have always been treated well and in a timely manner. The staff are all very nice and accommodating. The Physician's Assistant that I see is competent and understanding. All in all, the office visits are a pleasant experience. Finally, all research volunteers are paid a stipend for each visit! Besides all this, Dr. Smith is a great doctor with a wonderful fun personality!"
