I felt like I was fumbling through the first few weeks with little knowledge and very low confidence. I was supplementing with donor milk when I wasn’t sure my baby was getting enough. Leilani helped me get my supply up and gave me numerous and helpful tips on so many topics including latch positions, gas/ burping, vitamins and diet suggestions for me. We talked about how to identify crying cues and even discussed sleep practices. She has so many wonderful tips and tricks to share that really helped me in between visits. She is eager to help, easy to communicate with and worth every dollar spent. "I found Leilani through a quick google search and her reviews were outstanding. Even though my insurance did not cover a visit with her I paid out of pocket and it was worth every penny. My baby had difficulty latching even after his tongue, lip and cheek tie release. It was painful for me and he wasn’t getting enough milk. Leilani saw me in her office within 2 days and was able to assist him in a proper pain-free latch and he took in 2 ounces of milk in about 10 minutes! I still had trouble at home and she came to my house for a home visit. We tried countless positions and techniques and I was still having pain, but Leilani was so patient. Ultimately I decided to switch to exclusive pumping and she was able to help me with that too! She was able to size me with flanges and had them available for purchase right then and there. I was using a size 20 and I was really a size 13. It’s made a big difference! Leilani is very caring and not judgmental at all. She is a breastfeeding expert but also is an advocate for mom and baby’s mental health and will be supportive with whatever you decide to do. I highly recommend her and am so grateful for her services."

"I am very happy with our experience with Leilani. She was very prompt with communication. We made an appointment for a home visit which was very convenient being only a week or so postpartum. She arrived on time and was so kind and professional. We were having trouble with our latch and weight gain. She worked with us and gathered all the information she needed to determine what was going on. She made some adjustments we needed in order to get a good latch and made sure she was getting all the milk she needs to gain weight. "Leilani is incredibly amazing. My son had a lip and tongue tie, and was not latching correctly. Leilani was able to identify the ties, and refer us to an amazing dentist that was able to fix those ties. Not only did she refer us to the dentist, but she even came to my appointment with me to be my support person, since I didn’t have anyone available to attend it with me that day. Every appointment with her I was able to learn how to latch my son better, and she taught me so many tips on positioning. Leilani genuinely cares about everyone she works with, as well as the babies. I highly recommend working with Leilani if you are a first time mom, and are struggling with breastfeeding. Leilani is extremely knowledgeable, and has a passion for the work that she does!
