"Awful experience. I’ve had lower back pain for many years and recently it’s just become unbearable so I decided to finally get some help for it. After a VERY brief examination and past medical history talk, I was basically told that I am just overweight and no treatment will help long term because of my weight. I tried to explain to the doctor that I understood I needed to lose weight but it was hard to workout when my pain was so high. He just continued to go on and on about obesity rates and his opinion on the matter. I really just felt like I was judged from the minute he walked into the room. I was passed off as - here is another fat person who just wants the easy way out. I couldn’t talk and defend myself or give him any response back, there was no dialogue between us, it was just a lecture from him on why I’m overweight. He knew nothing about me or even inquired about what I’ve been through. I got emotional and just left the office. I don’t feel comfortable being treated by this provider and I won’t be making any future appts. Old male physicians who aren’t keeping up with current trends and treatments are not the type of physician I wish to see or be treated by."

"The PA on my first appointment was very thorough. It has been a long process to get an appointment for injections. However, after being at my first appointment and dealing with other staff members I'm sure this will be a good place to go for treatment."

"I have a lot of medical issues pertaining to the spine and hips. Dr. Hesseltine does my epidurals. I have faith and trust in him. He is so compassionate. So friendly and so at ease.. The office is very clean and the staff is very friendly.. they have a Beaumont location and upland as well."

"This medical office is excellent in patient communication. When you speak with the Doctor, they take the time to listen to your concerns. Also, sometimes the pharmacy was out of my medication resulting in extra time to locate another prescription being changed. Most Doctors do not take the time and attention to make the changes, but this Doctor called me personally to speak with me so he could make the adjustments. The staff is very polite, answers any questions as well and are very personable. I gave this Dr. office a 5. I would give them higher ratings if possible."

"You keep sending me this for a review. Perhaps you will listen now. Here is what you ask me for! I can say nothing good about Dr. Anderson. He needs to retire!! His bedside manner is like Death Warmed Over. I would not have returned to this office, had I known I would be seeing Dr. Anderson. Changing offices for Pain Control is not a simple thing to do. It must be done with considerable thought and care. I am giving great thought right now, about leaving the care offered by your offices. My first visit back with your office, I thought I would see a P.A.. Instead I got Dr. Anderson. I don't recall the exact words that he spoke. But, this is what I heard him say "So you were having problems getting your drugs. So you are back now". Such kind words just melt your heart. I am as a nurse. My license remains in an Active Status. Dr. Anderson is a very smart doctor. He is also perhaps the worst doctor I have ever seen, when it comes to bedside manner. And I been a nurse since 1983. Your office would be great without this doctor. As a patient, he is a nightmare. I'm sure that I will pay dearly for this review. I may have no choice but to leave now."
