Exer Urgent Care - Marina Del Rey

"The worst Urgent Care I have ever been to. I never write reviews so this should speak to how awful of an experience I had. They were so rude and made me wait a long time when the office was empty. I knew I was sick (fever, chills, cough, running nose) and the Doctor pushed it off as if I wasn't sick and wouldn't give me the medication I needed. They took my swab to send to the lab and they said it would take 24-48 hours to get back to me. It took over 72-96 hours to get my results back to me. They then said I needed an antibiotic which they never called into the CVS -- so I had to wait 120+ hours before I could even receive the antibiotics that I desperately needed from the moment I walked into this Urgent Care. I would not recommend this facility to anyone and I am very beyond upset with my experience."

"This place deserves a five star however, Cadence who’s part of the front staff really impacted the experience I had on Monday. Cadence was not smiling nor was emphatic of my health problem. Although, I came in at the same time with another patient who was in less pain than I was as they were on their laptop doing work, I submitted my paperwork before that patient. However, that patient was given precedence over me as they were both African American and I was not, although I was really sick and was required to wear a mask."

"- no summary of care - no contact info for reaching out to doctor - doctor misdiagnosed me (she said my bursitis was not infected) because I didn't have fever symptoms, but the spot was red and she didn't feel it to see if it was hot, and she also did not consider that, since I could not think of any trauma or overuse cause, it could have been due to an infection. I told her I popped a pimple on my elbow 6 hours before the pain started, so she prescribed me an antibiotic 'just in case'. But she didn't prescribe a strong enough one nor for a long enough period (should be 10 days minimum), so I had to go to another doctor 4 days later to get a stronger antibiotic."

"If I lived in the Marina Del Ray area, I would only go to this Exer Urgent Care when needed. The office manager made me so welcome; the tech assistant was divine, highly skilled, and sweet; the doctor was so so so good. She stitched up a gaping hole meticulously and saved a hunk of hanging skin. She accurately advised me of imminent pain which saved me worry when it occurred. I felt held in a positive field when I was there. Very grateful. Thank you Dr Kaminsky and team."

"Was seen fast however very unprofessional staff that had to say “ that’s weird “ as a diagnostic. I was prescribed drugs that should’ve required blood test and the duration of the treatment was clearly way shorter that it should’ve been according to the second opinion that was done by an actual doctor. Clearly knowing that the treatment was too short they refused to refill the medication without seeing me again. Do not recommend. Waste of time and money. Negative stars would be more appropriate"
