"Ian and Rock Star Properties are wonderful. I have been with Ian and Rock Star Properties since I moved to Morro Bay 5 years ago. When I first was looking at apartments, Ian was incredibly helpful and even reached out to me when an apartment I was looking at opened up. I am now on my 2nd apartment with Ian and Rock Star Properties and I could not be happier. When I needed to move, Ian was so helpful and was able to find my fiance and I a new apartment within a few days. He made a stressful process very easy. Ian has been incredibly helpful with everything I have needed for my apartments. Ian is always timely with fixes and comes to help as soon as he possibly can. He has been incredibly friendly and I could not imagine renting from any other company in Morro Bay or the central coast."

"I had a horrible experience with Ian Starkie and am wondering if the other positive reviews he has received, most of which were several years ago, are fake. Ian collected all of my personal data, to include my social security number, in advance of showing me a property he had no intention of renting to me. After completing his extensive rental application and viewing a home, I was told he would review my application with the owners and get back to me the following week. I never heard from him again. The property is still listed as available on several sites and it is listed for a price that is far below other similar properties in the area. Seems like some sort of scam to me. He was unprofessional and nonresponsive and as such, in addition to this review, I will also be reporting him to the Better Business Bureau and putting a freeze on my credit. Beware of any property management companies who ask for a completed application before a viewing. If someone asks for your social security number before you’ve even met, it’s probably not legitimate. I had to learn that the hard way."

"Ian at Rock Star Property is a wonderful Property Manager who is very caring, ethical, knowledgeable, professional and goes beyond the call of duty to get things done honestly, quickly and professionally. The best and most trustworthy property manager that we have used by far. We are very thankful for him, as his company takes all our worries away. His prices are very fair and We would highly recommend him."

"Ian Starkie and his associate are easy, responsive, and great to deal with. I have been a tenant in one of the properties he manages located in downtown SLO for almost 15 years and had to move to a larger home for my growing family. If you look at other property management company reviews, you will notice a lot of tenant complaints. Not with Rock Star Properties. If you are either a tenant seeking a new place to call home or a landlord looking to have a management company manage your investment property, I I highly recommend contacting Rock Star Properties. "Ian Starkie with Rock Star Properties Inc was great to work with; charming, kind, knowledgeable and very responsive. My boyfriend and I are on the hunt for a place to rent and his ad popped up on Zillow, such a unique place in Morro Bay I could see myself long-term, I was happy how quickly he came thru for us to set up a viewing. I would love if we get the place, of course, it is perfect for our needs, but regardless I am an avid positive reviewer and when I meet someone who impressed me with their skills and customer service I am happy to pass on the appreciation. This community needs more like you! Highly recommend Ian!"
