"Today while bringing my 86 year old mother to a check up at this medical business, we were 1/2 hour early. The office doors were locked for their lunch break so we used the time to practice using her new walker. At 1pm (her appt. time) I opened the door to let the woman behind the counter know that my mother was walking in (they charge a $25 'late' fee). She told me she had forms for us to fill out and I waited. She wasn't ready so I told her I'd go outside and check on my mother. When I returned, the receptionist insisted I needed to complete 8-10 pages of forms because it had been 2 yrs. since these forms were completed by my mother. However, nothing had changed so I informed the woman that I would write that on the forms, sign them and return them. She protested, insisted, etc. but I was not going to do needless paperwork. Later, after we had waited for the PA to come in and examine my mother, he again insisted that I fill out the forms or he wouldn't examine my mother. REALLY? Fortunately he backed down. He didn't make notes while interviewing my mother in the system, he didn't know her history and items as much as FIVE years in duration! I had to keep asking him to check his computer files for the answers to questions he was asking my mother. Just really a disappointing and inefficient 'medical exam'. A complete example of Medicare payments for no service or assistance. Skip this place.(I can say more but why?)"
