"If you have billing questions, and go back and forth with the way they handle insurance, they will DROP YOU AS A PATIENT....... The Doctors and Nurses are great......, the billing department on another hand is TERRIBLE. I used this office a couple of time’s for my daughter while in CA. The first visit is covered, because my deductible is met. The second visit, all the sudden I owe a HUGE bill because nothing on my ded is met. As I’m talking to the billing department they inform me my ded is not met, and its a “courtesy” for them to even run my insurance. Also they cant tell me what my current deductible balances is as well as dispute the incorrect bill. At this point I’m irritated, when will people do THEIR jobs instead of the customer. I have to call insurance now, and take care of it while still owing the false amount. Im past frustrated, but it gets better I'm then told “ive only had 2 visits, this is not the pedantic office for me”. All because I’m questioning the billing department."

"We don't have health insurance (my employer does not offer a family plan, we do not qualify for any assistance, yet can't begin to afford private insurance). The healthcare system in our country is an abomination - not my fault. We have always paid NBP out of pocket, in full, at the time of service. We went to get an immunization and were told that North Bay Pediatrics would no longer see us until we obtained health insurance. They were condescending and degrading. I do not want my child to be seen by a Dr. that values profit over patients."

"All of the Drs at this practice seem to really care about the infants & children they see. I've been bringing my son here since he was born and I've been very happy with the individual attention Dr Winston has given him. Dr Winston seems very dedicated to empowering parents with the knowlage & understanding of childrearing. For us, it's great to have a Dr reinforce our parenting style which include no screen time & meeting the needs of our babies 100% of the time. Also, whenever our son has been sick (he's in daycare so it's often) we've been able to easily get same day appointments, and all of the Drs in the practice we've worked with in the Glen Cove office have been wonderful. My son also loves the waiting room so much he never wants to leave (always a bonus when your kid actually wants to go to the Drs!)."
