"I received wonderful care and a successful surgery, very happy with Dr. Galland, he was very knowledgeable and professional. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. Although I'm at an age, thirty, where women don't typically get turned down for permanent birth control, I was still pleased that Dr. Galland respected my decision and didn't try to persuade me either way. He of course, had to go over alternatives, but I felt like I was treated like an adult that knew what she wanted rather than a young girl making a hasty decision. It seems a bit unfair that most doctors turn away women under the age of thirty for this procedure, because I feel we as women deserve to be in complete control of our reproductive choices and needs. Being persuaded by doctors to not get the procedure because we may change our minds, to me, is bias because it undermines our ability to make other choices for ourselves such as giving birth or having an abortion - something I firmly believe all women should have the right to choose for themselves. I have known at a very early age that I never wanted children and I feel that women who feel this way are sometimes mistreated or frowned upon in our society. I highly recommend for any woman considering sterilization - (bilateral salpingectomy) or any other female reproductive health care needs that they visit Prima Medical Group."
"Dr. Giovanni Elia is a wonderful Doctor. My mother was dying of stage 3 multiple myeloma She was in so much pain. Dr Elia saw her every week and helped make her as comfortable as she could be. He was very kind to her and to me. She ended up in the hospital on Thanksgiving day 2014. That's when they told me she had only a couple weeks left. Dr. Elia came to the hospital on thanksgiving to see her but mostly to tell me how sorry he was. I will forever be grateful for that. He had no other patients to see at the hospital and my mother didn't really know what was going on but for him to go out of his way to see us was what only a wonderful caring doctor would do."
