"I don't know why this place gets bad reviews. Maybe people coming in without appointments--- don't do that. First visit here--- place I normally go to had no appointments--- web site led me to here--- nearest to the other place Plenty of parking, easy to find. Open, plenty of space inside. Staff helpful, including to one guy having a self-confessed senior moment-- here for a kidney specialist appointment! Timely, taken back for my appointment. My phlebotomist was skillful--- easily in despite my shy veins."

"Just had a pleasant experience at the Larkspur location. Lots of parking in front. Arrived at 8:30 w/o appointment. Six people in waiting for room, two also w/o appointments. Checking tablet app gives you a choice to wait in line, but warms you it might be awhile. Screen shows where you are in line. I waited in spacious waiting room with others, mostly unmasked. Option to wait in car & they text you. They called me in only 15-mins. Total time including a phone call to my doctor was 30-mins."

"Laughable would be generous. I thought I was getting punk'd or in the worst Black Mirror episode. Quest's website states that one can get a blood draw at Carbon Health. Nope, Carbon Health was friendly but there were wondering why Quest had not updated their website. -No receptionist. An awful marketing video on loop, in addition to pumped in music of a different variety. -The person who did the blood draw called me in. Then said, "No wrong person. Wait outside." Then within 5 minutes, called me back to say "You're the right person." -2 attempts for a blood draw. I asked 2x if she needed another sample. I then show her the request on my printed lab form I brought that she needs another sample to which she replied, "Oh good thing you (me) caught that." She got blood on my paper and on the plastic unit where one signs. -I asked if she was going to remove the blood from the signature block. She said, "Oh, I didn't see it." The lack of thoroughness and professionalism was appalling. Quest, as a company you really need to do better."

"Wow. Don’t bother trying to make an appointment because first they make you sign up for an account and they just give you a list of potential offices, not telling you how to actually make the appointment but then you realize that only a few of them have them available but that are very far away. For a company that takes all sorts of input on customer service it’s baffling that they don’t actually use any of the data to improve their services. I guess that’s what monopolies create."

"My experience at this location (950 Las Gallinas Ave, San Rafael, CA 94903) provided a welcome contrast to those I have had at Quest 5 Bon Air Rd Ste 119, Larkspur, CA 94939. The Las Gallinas location is clean, well-lighted, staffed by a very friendly technician, and has clear signage. The 5 Bon Air location is dark, unclean, and the only signage is a single monitor that is not working properly, making it almost impossible to actually see what is on the screen. But both locations share the hallmark of Quest Diagnostics for patients: No onsite help or support of any kind. Not even a phone to pick up to get information. Obviously, if the company cared about its customers (the physicians who send their patients for testing) with this level of disregard, it would have the new management that it needs so badly very quickly."
