"My son (who is two years old) and myself go here regularly and LOVE the service. We get our haircuts from Von who always delivers high quality haircuts in a short amount of time. I really appreciate how good he is with cutting kids' hair as well. At first, I was nervous to bring my son to get his first haircut, but because of Von's calm demeanor, responsiveness, and professionalism my son gets a clean fade and cut with no issues. I highly recommend!"

"HORRIBLE! Black men: DO. NOT. GO. HERE. Go to JP’s or Atwood Barbershop but go here at your own peril. I’ve been here twice with two different barbers. Neither of them could do a simple lining. Both pushed my line back, neither used a straight edge, every time the corners were lopsided and uneven. Like exaggeratedly bad! One brushed my mini fro with a bristle brush to prep for a lining. WHAT!?! A barbershop is only as good as it’s talent. F the price. F the location. This a shop of bad barbers and a bad manager. I try to support black owned businesses, but you gotta be good. This is bad. If I could give zero stars, I would. Plus side, they were friendly. And apologetic. Still didn’t make them good."

"Best place to get a cut in Madison area. 5 stars easy…They have great customer service and do a great job giving you the cut that you ask for. If you want the best cut go to Von he’s the best in the business! Gets me right everytime!"

"I wish I could give them a lower rating. Absolutely the worst haircut I have ever gotten in my life. The person didn’t care about finishing the hair cut properly. He was clearly not interested to know what kind of haircut I wanted. Finished the entire haircut in around 10 minutes and left multiple uneven spots. The guy with the afro, who cut my hair, clearly does not know how to and I regret visiting the shop. I had to visit another barber this morning and get another haircut to fix the mess he made."

"I wish I could give them a better rating because I enjoy the convenience of the shop but every time I go there it is a new barber cutting my sons hair. the barbers always talk about how uneven my sons edges are but they were the last place I went to. This time was absolutely horrible. I asked for a low taper for my son and got a high one levl hair cut with no taper no fade. When I first walked out my son looked like a clown. So I came back for the hair to be shorter on the sides but once again did not get what I asked for. When he was done I was overwhelmed and just gave up. I cried in my car because I’ve been growing out my sons hair and It got chopped off. There was a clear language barrier and no one would help us. The barber would use his phone to help interpret but it would clearly interpret the words wrong. there was a point the interpreter on his phone was saying something about a supermarket groceries. He was a good guy and I believe he could do a great job but we could not get on the same page."
